Our world came crashing down

On Sunday, June 26, 2011, our sweet Baby Elli grew her Angel wings.  Born on 9/13 and she will forever be 9 months and 13 days old.

Life must go on, we're just not exactly sure how.  Addi and Livi need us.

I will resume the blog at some point.  I still feel the need to document the lives of Miss Adalyn and Miss Alivia.  But for now, I'll be taking a break.  Our family is devastated and we need some time to grieve and to heal.

She will be in the hearts & minds of everyone, especially those of us who never had the chance to meet her. May God give you the strength to get through this.

You are correct Jess, Addi and Livi need you guys. But more important their love will carry you through these tough times. It appears from the outside that you all have a HUGE support system. Use that, lean on it when you need it and even when you don't. I am very sorry for your loss and that you or anyone has to deal with this. My heart continues to ache for you and your family. I never knew Baby Elli, but her smile tells me that she was loved an will continue to be loved and that her memory will be forever in your hearts. She is now your angel. I continue to pray for strength an understanding for you guys.

Oh my God! I am SO sorry Jess. Your daughters are beautiful and I'm so happy you decided to carry on with the blog. I understand that I'm a total stranger and don't really mean anything to you; but I honestly am here to talk if you need someone to talk to. I have girls the same age as yours, including a 8 month old. I lost a baby before my twin girls were born, Tara. She was only a month and a half, she passed away with a hole in her heart that we caught far too late. I wish there was something I could say to you to make you feel better, but the pain never goes away; you just learn to work around it and use it to make you stronger and a better mother to the precious angels you still have the privilege of raising and get to know. You are forever Elli's mommy, and she will forever be your baby. She'll be watching over you and her sisters, and she will be waiting for the time where you can finally be together again. I'm so sorry that this has happened to your family. You are forever in our thoughts and prayers. ♥
